sierra Club is a nonprofit organization dubbed as the innovations first environmental activist group. The British capital of South Carolina chapter came into existence in 1969 with their main focus to protect and keep up British Columbia wilderness, ecosystems and wild lives within the urgent stage setting of global warming impacts. For everyplace forty years they counselling the responsible use of BC natural resources while promoting a modern equitable economy that sustain our planet in every way.
The Sierra Club of British Columbia has over 10,000 supporters from diverse communities across the province. The organization works with different trains of presidency and First Nations. As a consultant I was asked to chance on two main challenges that the organization faced.

Since 2009 the organization have been plagued with a number of obstacles namely
1) A noteworthy decline in financing and various government foundations.
2) A steady reduction in new recruitment at a local level both in selectership and participation.

EVALUATION
Lack of Funding.




In stake of an explanation to determine the various challenges that faces the Sierra club
my research findings has lead me to the conclusion that with the recent economic downturn in 2008 ,this has caused a devastating effect on their donors generosity. Job cuts, reduced payoff and hours have in turn affected umteen case-by-case giving ability therefore leading to a significant decline in the organizations budget.

Recruitment Reduction
Since its existence, the sierra club has had an alliance of local groups that spreads throughout the province. From Victoria to the Comox valley members that have compete a key role in their organization.
